Mozambique to Bring 230 MW Online

Mozambique is planning to bring four power stations online in 2017. Overall the four stations will have a combined capacity of 230 MW.

The Mavuzi and Chicamba hydroelectric power stations, with a combined capacity of 80 MW will come online this month.

The Covaninga power station, with a capacity of 40 MW, will also be inaugurated in a few months, as will the 110-MW Maputo thermal power plant.
