Located in Zagtouli, on the outskirts of Ouagadougou, the facility will comprise 129,600 panels of 260 Wp and will generate 33.7 MW to meet 10% of the current demand of the national distribution network. It will also be one of the largest solar power plants in sub-Saharan Africa.

Its total cost is $78 million, and its main investors are the European Investment Bank, the French Development Agency and the EU.
