Missouri to Assemble Zero-Emission Trucks

Smith Electric Vehicles US Corp., headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, has announced that it plans to assemble all-electric-zero-emission commercial vehicles with the plant located at an airline overhaul base at Kansas City International (KCI) Airport.

It is expected to create 120 jobs by 2010 with first production scheduled to begin by 3Q.
