Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gridworks for development of the North East Grid transmission project in Tanzania.
The project aims to improve the transmission network connecting the central, coastal and northeastern regions of the country. Indian firm Larsen & Toubro Construction will be the likely contractor on the project.
