BasiGo Launches New Electric Bus in Kenya

BasiGo has just introduced its new 36-seat electric bus in Kenya. The buses are designed for Nairobi with more capacity, more comfort and up to 400 kilometers per day of operations. The E9 Kubwa will be fully assembled in Kenya.

The E9 Kubwa from BasiGo is the Electric Bus designed for Kenya’s PSV sector.  The E9 is a 9-meter, fully-electric bus with seating capacity for 36 passengers and safe standing capacity for an additional 18 passengers. With the ability to recharge in less than 2 hours, the E9 Kubwa can operate up to 400km per day, meeting the needs of any urban bus route.  With a quiet ride and an interior that features leather seats, WiFi, CCTV Cameras, and USB charge points, the E9 provides the revolutionary experience that passengers have been waiting for.
