China has found another way to be more cost efficient; instead of widening streets to meet the growing transportation demands, the Shenzhen Huashi Future Parking Equipment company has developed a 3D Express Coach that will allow cars less than two meters high to travel underneath the upper level carrying passengers.
The bus resembles a light-rail train straddling the road, hovering at 4-4.5 meters high with two levels. The bus is powered by electricity and solar energy, and can reach speeds up to 60 km/h carrying 1,200 to 1,400 passengers.
