Mozambique’s Ministry of Energy, Fundo de Energia, has awarded UK-based Fortune CP Ltd. a solar PV project spanning from Nampula, Cabo Delgado, and Niassa.
Local company Nhlamulu Consultores Lda. will partner with Fortune with financial backing deriving from the European Commission. The solar PV project is expected to be complete in three years with Fortune over the supply and installation of the PV systems.
There were 10 bids for the project with candidates including: Energo Group SA, IED, Sogreah Consultants SAS, and the Universidade Politecnica de Madrid’s Instituto de Energia Solar.
