Local Company Claims 1,500 KW Solar Installation in Nigeria

PSC Nigeria said that it has installed 1,500 KW of solar PV systems in Nigeria, with efforts to increase that total to 5,500 KW over the next year.

 

The solar manufacturer said its introduced products that would provide reliable electric power supply without additional charges after the initial system purchase. CEO Patrick Owelle said, “What we are offering is virtually free of charge and it will be criminal not to pursue alternative electricity sources in Africa.”

 

He continued by saying that the economic benefits of solar power would be beneficial for Nigerians, allowing them to determine if they want as little as 10 watts to as much as 50 MW to 100 MW with a life span of about 30 to 50 years.
