Blue Marble Energy to Further Invest in Biomass

Blue Marble Energy has added $1.3 million in order to expand its renewable energy sector. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Blue Marble Biomaterials, will operate as the renewable chemical arm of Blue Marble Energy.

The company manufactures a variety of products from food to perfume, plastics, adhesives, and synthetic textiles. However, the company also produces renewable energy from biomass. The company’s site urges partnerships and says that it can develop new compounds for products, create renewable pathways to existing compounds for a company’s products, utilize and create value in byproducts, and license its technology. The site said, “Get in touch with us to discuss how we might utilize your byproducts or develop sustainable compounds for your products.”
