Siemens Prepares Big Bucks for Africa

Siemens plans to invest £200 million in Africa, funding projects in the energy, health care, and infrastructure development sectors.

 

The company is keen to jump into Kenya’s renewable energy sector – mainly wind and solar energy. The government has already said that it will be focusing on renewable sources of energy with massive investments already being made in geothermal and wind energy.
