RENEXPO® CE: optimalization of energy efficiency is getting more motivating
Maintaining energy strategy and policy is not possible without renewable and decentralized energy production and efficiency. The European Union considers energy policy and renewable energies to be key issues, so it’s a lucky coincidence that May is the month of energy during which Hungary is holding the EU presidency. Budapest is hosting a number of important professional and political events which will open the fifth RENEXPO® between the 5-7th of May, 2011.
RENEXPO® Central Europe became the leading professional forum and trade fair of renewable energy and energy efficiency, which play crucial roles in the upcoming fair this year.
As far as Hungary’s energy consumption is concerned, buildings use 39-42% of the whole national energy consumption. Professionals agree that energy consumption could be reduced by 50% in this field. According to the NREAP, the share of energy from renewable energy until 2020 has to reach up to 14,65% of the final consumption of energy, that is the triple of its present value. The Green Economy and part of that, the renewable energies, mean alternative industry for the future and the main break-out point for the country, creating a large number of job opportunities.
RENEXPO® Central Europe (between the 5-7th of May, 2011, Hungexpo Fair Trade Center, F pavilon) focuses on the following themes: energy efficient production process, decentralized energy production, renewables energies (bioenergy, solar thermal and photovoltaic, wind energy, hydro power, geothermal energy, waste to energy), energy supply, smart grid, smart metering, intelligent and energy efficient supply (energy efficient construction and renovation, low-energy houses, intelligent buildings, industrial processes, e-mobility). Visitors will arrive from the following sectors: industry, energy supply, trade, architecture, projekt management, agriculture, forestry, governmental sector, science and research.
RENEXPO® Central Europe became an official event of the Hungarian EU Presidency. Due to this, many international conferences, forums and work shops may await professional visitors (e.g. International Biogas Conference, From Biomass to Solar, European Defence Agency – Sustainable Energy for EU Crisis Management Operation, International Geothermal Workshop – Geothermal markets in the Pannonian Basin, International Conference on Municipal Energy Efficiency and the Use of Renewables, Regional Developements – new directions for alternativ and renewable energies and energy efficiency, building energetics, small power plants, smart metering conference). The 2nd annual conference of Renewable Heating and Cooling Technology (RHC) Platform takes place at the same venue and time of the fifth RENEXPO Central Europe.
