Africa Indirectly Receives $$$ from GE’s Ecomagination Challenge

Two UK firms have received part of the £125 million fund created by GE’s Ecomagination Challenge, with one company using its winnings to power up Africa.

 

e.quinox is a solar power start-up based in London that brings renewable energy to rural parts of Africa. It operates a student-run humanitarian project that will bring cost effective solar energy to rural communities in Rwanda via off-grid PV systems.
