Volta River Authority to Construct Solar Plant in Ghana

Ghana’s utility, the Volta River Authority (VRA), will begin construction on a solar PV plant in Navrongo. The plant, expected to cost around $8 million, will help the country harness its solar energy.

Three other plants are also planned to be built in Kaleo, Lawra, and Jirapa with contracts expected to be awarded in March.
