Intersolar Europe – Connecting Solar Business

Intersolar Europe 2012 will take place at the Munich Trade Fair Centre from June 13 to 15. Today, it is the world’s largest exhibition for the solar industry, and looks back on a history spanning more than twenty years.

In 2011, 2,286 international exhibitors and around 77,000 trade visitors were welcomed to Intersolar Europe.

The accompanying Intersolar Europe Conference consolidates the topics of the exhibition. In 2011, more than 400 speakers and around 2,500 attendees discussed current industry topics and investigated the background of technological, market and political developments.

Held as an official side event of Intersolar Europe, the Solar Investment Forum is the most established solar investment congress in Europe, providing the ideal meeting place for the solar and finance communities.

With the 2012 agenda focusing on solar market trends, sources of equity and exit strategies, M&A in the solar sector, new financing structures and strategic investors as well as risk mitigation, the Solar Investment Forum reflects the solar market in the midst of the current Eurozone crisis.

Q3 2011 witnessed a surge in solar park financings, as well as in merger and acquisition activity, despite the unfolding European financial crisis. The Solar Investment Forum will provide the perfect platform to discuss how to monopolise on the new methods of project financing, identifying the key selling points for solar investors.

Providing the unique opportunity to hear from a speaking faculty consisting of over 20 of the industry’s leading finance minds, those currently confirmed to speak at the Solar Investment Forum 2012 include:
