Suzlon Bags China Wind Turbine Order

According to Suzlon Enery Ltd., a private Indian power company, it has recently received two orders from China for turbines used in electricity-producing wind farms. The combined projects will turn out nearly 200MWs of power.

 

The first scheduled shipment will go to Ao Lu Jia New Energy Development during the second quarter of financial year 2008-09. It will turn out 148.5 MW of wind turbine capacity through 99 units of the S82-1.5 MW model. The second delivery will go to Beifang Longyuan (North Union), in the first quarter of financial year 2009-10, which will turn out 50 MW of wind turbine capacity through 40 units of the S64-1.25 MW model turbines.
