After the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved the World Bank’s $365 million loan to Eskom, South Africa’s state-owned power utility announced that it has met financial close for the Sere Wind Power Project and Upington Concentrating Solar Thermal Power Plant.
Both projects will total 100 MW located in the Western and Northern Capes.
