Tunisia Gets First Solar Power Station

Tunisia will soon get more power with the commissioning of its first concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) power station. Soitec, in partnership with Tunisia’s electricity company STEG and the Ministry of Agriculture, had already installed four solar power irrigation pumps in Kebili.

 

The technology will enable 270 farmers in the region produce electricity while optimizing agricultural development.
