Egypt’s President Looks to Lure Brazilian Investment

Egypt’s president Mohamed Morsi will visit Brazil this week with eight businessmen to participate in roundtable discussions with Brazilian companies at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo.

Government spokesman Ehab Fahmy recently said to MENA news agency that the objective behind the trip is to strengthen trade, economic and industrial ties, and to attract further Brazilian investment. This will be the last in the BRICS nations for Morsi to visit with hopes of being invited to the group (rumored to make it E-BRICS).
