Renewable Energy Feed-in Tariffs Hit Ghana

Renewable energy feed-in tariffs (FITs) landed in Ghana on September 1 after being approved on August 28 in accordance with the country’s Renewable Energy Act 2011.

 

The approved rates that existed from the previous year that a PPA was signed will be fixed and applicable for that project for 10 years. And rates will be subject to review every two years.

 

The new FIT rates consist:
