Hydrasun Adds New Executive Positions

Release

Hydrasun, a provider of integrated fluid transfer, power, and control solutions to the global energy industry, made two new senior business development appointments as it positions itself for further development and growth in international markets.

Stephen McIntyre joins Hydrasun as business development manager for global key accounts, and Derek Murray joins as International sales manager. Both positions are based in the company’s Aberdeen headquarters, and will support key elements of a growth strategy, with a focus on key customers and the extension of the existing integrated product and service offering within both existing and new markets.

McIntyre has over 20 years’ experience working in oil and gas, both in the UK and overseas markets. In his new role, McIntyre will be responsible for the development of the company’s key customers within the subsea equipment market.

Murray joins Hydrasun from Scottish Enterprise, where he provided strategic growth support to a portfolio of 20 oil and gas companies. He will be responsible for managing the international business development team, with a focus on implementation and execution of the company’s sales management processes and plans across key international regions.

Bob Drummond, Hydrasun CEO, said: “Stephen and Derek’s appointments will support our ambitious growth strategy. They both bring a wealth of experience in the oil and gas sector together with the necessary management and business development expertise, to enable us to clearly demonstrate the added value Hydrasun can deliver to our customers. We look forward to their contribution to our continued growth and further success in the years to come”.
