Tanzania’s Singida region will see construction commence by 2015 on the first phase of 150 MW wind farm. The first phase will consist of 50 MW with the second phase ushering in another 100 MW.
Construction is set to begin in 2014 via China Daliang International Group and after 15 months, the project should be feeding energy into the national grid. The Chinese firm is working with the National Development Corp., but the project was delayed waiting on the Tanzanian government to guarantee a loan.
