The Times of India reported that local Indian firm, Jaypee Group, is planning to cut its debt portfolio by selling some of its hydropower assets.
Interested firms are speculated to be the Abu Dhabi National Energy Co., IDFC, and a Canadian pension fund. A source told the news outlet that the talks were in the final stages and a deal could be reached by February.
