World Bank Allots $100M for Nigerian Solar

The World Bank is working with Nigeria’s Environment Ministry to obtain $100 million for a clean technology energy fund hoping to increase renewable energy within the West African country.

 

The fund, a concessional loan with low interest rates, will target grid-connected solar PV plants particularly in northern Nigeria.
