Kenya’s second largest open-air market, Mbili market in Kisii country, will undergo modernization efforts at the tune of $4.6 million which will see the deployment of renewable energy applications.
The local government is currently in advanced discussions with Chase Bank for the funding of the project with Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) as consultant on architectural designs.
