Malawi to Host 1-Day Community Energy Conference

On June 19, Malawi will hold a community energy conference in Lilongwe to educate locals on the energy policy that hopes to promote renewables.Community Energy Malawi National Coordinator Edgar Bayani said that this was the first of its kind in the country focusing on opportunities and challenges relating to increasing renewable energy.

“We hope this conference will contribute significantly towards the energy policy development process as well as open up opportunities for Malawi to benefit from the United Nation’s Sustainable Energy for all,” he said.
