Egypt’s New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) is currently in negotiations with 10 local and international financial institutions to secure a loan worth $196.5 million to finance the first phase of construction of Siemens wind power plant.
According to an Egypt Daily News report, the negotiations are expected to be concluded this month.
The project will add a capacity factor of 2,000 MW of wind energy by 2022.
