TerniEnergia’s South African subsidiary has completed the construction of an 82.5-MWp solar PV plant in Paleisheuwel, in South Africa’s Western Cape province.
The firm is building two solar PV plants in South Africa, the first of which to be completed is the Paleisheuwel plant. The plant employs a total of 611,000 panels and was connected to the South African grid. TerniEnergia also has a renewable four-year contract for the operation and maintenance of the plant.
The company is also constructing the 66-MW Tom Burke solar PV plant.
