Egypt’s planned nuclear plant at Dabaa is seeing interest from Czech firms wanting to supply components. According to reports, these Czech firms offered Russia-based Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corp. (Rosatom), who is constructing the nuclear power plant, to provide the components for the Dabaa nuclear plant.
Czech Trade and Industry Minister, Jan Mládek, said during the first meeting of the Egyptian Czech Joint Economic Committee that Prague is looking to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, industry, energy, and transport as well as small and medium enterprises
According to Mládek, Czech investors are also focusing on investments in Egypt in the new and renewable energy sector.
