Suntrace Wins World Bank Contracts

Suntrace has received six contract awards from World Bank Group over the last months for international feasibility studies, site assessments and resource measurement campaigns. The awards are for solar and wind projects in Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Libya, and Vietnam.

The projects will run for a period of between one to two and a half years.

In Ethiopia, the IFC, commissioned Suntrace to provide technical advice for the Scaling Solar Ethiopia project. This includes site analyses for several photovoltaic power plants with an aggregate capacity of up to 500 MW and technical advisory during the procurement process until awarding of the projects.

In Libya, Suntrace has been mandated to assist the World Bank to develop a roadmap for future energy supply.

On all six assignments, Suntrace will be working with both local and international partners.
