The Ghanaian National Lottery Authority (NLA) plans to provide about 30,000 innovative solar kiosks nationwide for its agents. The solar kiosks are part of the NLAs efforts to modernize its operations.
The Director-General of the NLA, Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, at a stakeholders forum in Accra, said the move was aimed at modernizing lottery in Ghana and cushioning NLA’s agents across the country.
The new, innovative kiosks could be used for mobile money transfers and utility payments, among other transactions. The roll out of the new kiosks is expected to take place in November or December.
