New Interim CEO for Eskom

New Interim CEO for Eskom

South Africa has another new interim CEO for its beleaguered state-run utility, Eskom. The board of the firm named Sean Maritz to replace Johnny Dladla, who had held the position since June when he replaced the previous acting CEO Matshela Koko.

In a statement, the Eskom board said it was rotating executives in the role to “ensure exposure.”

Maritz was formerly the company’s CIO and group executive for information technology. Dladla is resuming his role as the CEO of Eskom Rotek Industries.
