Libya, France Highlight Renewable Energy Projects

Libya’s General People’s Committee (GPC) for electricity, water, and gas, in corroboration with the French Minister of Transportation discussed means of bolstering Libyan-French cooperation in the electricity, water, and gas sectors.

 

The French minister said France aimed to bolster cooperation in all areas, but highlighted renewable energy projects as a solution to advance energy sectors. The GPC secretary noted that renewable energy projects in the wind, solar, and power generation areas could benefit greatly from French companies that are seen as pioneers in the field.

 

The 6th Session of the Libyan-French Economic meeting, organized by the joint Libyan-French Commerce Chamber and the General Union of Trade, Industry, and Agriculture Chambers, aimed to promote economic relations between both countries in the different areas and to create join investment openings.
