The French Development Agency has allocated funding of nearly €50 million to Benin, for the development of a PV power plant. The plant, which will be located in the city of Pobè, will have a 25 MW capacity.
Called Defissol, the project also includes the modernization of the computer system of the Beninese Electric Power Company, the state parastatal in charge of electricity supply in the country.
