A few weeks ago, I began posting on various sites and also the use of social networking to ask a major question: What do you feel is the best renewable energy initiative implemented by a government in Africa?
It is an informal survey just to gauge what our readers felt was the best government policy currently implemented within the continent; however, to date I have failed to receive a response that actually gives a clear policy. The criterion is simple: it must be currently instituted. The continent is never short of government proposals to help increase the renewable energy sector, but often times these initiatives fail to see much progress.
What do you feel has been the most successful government initiative implemented in Africa for renewable energy? It could include something like Kenya’s renewable energy feed-in tariff, new measures taken in Algeria, progressive reforms in Morocco, etc. Either way, Alternative Energy Africa wants to hear from you. Please feel free to email me at lgraves@AE-Africa.com.
I look forward to reading your thoughts.
Kind Regards,
LeAnne Graves, Editor
