The world needs more energy. But we need clean energy that is sustainable, accessible and affordable for all. There have been some incredible advances in alternative energy, driven by technological discoveries. It is these developments that give us hope for a sustainable future.
The Zayed Future Energy Prize has been established to celebrate these advances and stimulate further innovation. Named after the Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates, the late HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, this award will recognize and reward those who are making the most significant intellectual and technological contributions to a truly sustainable future.
