Conducting business as Galena Advisors, the new division provides financial and technical advisory services for project and structured financings related to the generation and transmission of electricity worldwide.
Galena Advisors’ services include independent engineering support to lenders and owner’s engineering and project structuring support to owners and developers. “We believe through Galena Advisors experienced team, coupled with the depth and breadth of expertise within POWER’s 1,500 professionals, we bring a unique product to the marketplace, that we can provide real and tangible value for prospective investors and sponsors,” said Galena Advisors president, Ramesh Raman.
To develop Galena Advisors’ services, POWER has hired a team of veteran consultants within the international energy space. POWER and Galena believe this relationship will be a major benefit to Galena’s clients.
“Galena’s staff knows the bankability analysis, proformas and the overall technical aspects of successful projects,” said Bret Moffett, Chief Administration Officer of POWER Engineers. “Galena will be able to tap into POWER’s technical design experience, add tangible value and create potential efficiencies for both project investors and sponsors.”
