Ziff Energy Report:

Natural Gas Implications of Greenhouse Gas Abatement

Ziff Energy announces the release of a report which evaluates the implications of anticipated future greenhouse gas abatement legislation on natural gas demand. The topic paper forecasts that the relative demand for natural gas will increase as users switch away from more expensive higher carbon content fuels. “Given the likelihood of far-reaching greenhouse gas abatement legislation being enacted in North America, we forecast natural gas demand to increase relative to other fossil fuels” concludes Paul Simon, Senior Analyst, Gas Services at Ziff Energy.
