Engie has acquired SPIE Maroc, a company specialized in electrical and climatic engineering, multi-technical maintenance and telecommunications and energy transmission infrastructures. The company, which has been operating in Morocco for a century, employs 1,000 people and achieved a turnover of €70 million in 2016.
With its integration into its Africa business line, Engie is leading the energy services segment in Morocco and is moving closer to achieving its goal of becoming the leading provider of integrated energy services in the continent. As for SPIE, this operation allows it to focus on European markets and concentrate its activities and future developments.
