Eureka Forbes Ventures into Solar

Eureka Forbes will take a leap into the solar sector, believing that solar energy products could contribute to 5-7% of its business in three years.

 

Marketing solar energy products from Shapoorji Pallonji (SP) Group, Eureka Forbes created the EuroDiya brand for the solar-powered products.  The company will start marketing solar lamps in India, but plans to hit southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. EuroDiya solar lamps will be provide an alternative source of lighting in areas suffering power cuts. The company will sell the product along with its water filters and also plans to tie-up with NGOs and local entrepreneurs in rural areas.
