First International Summit to Bring Key Players to Nigeria




The first ever International Summit and Exhibition on Energy (I-SEE 2009) is expected to draw some big industry names and decision makers to Nigeria. The conference, held from November 1 to 3, is being organized by Lyght Consult Ltd., the Federal Ministry of Power, UNIDO Regional Center for Small Hydropower in Africa, and the International Center for Energy, Environment, and Development.

 

Other participants include top Nigerian government officials with President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua delivering the keynote address.

 

Themed “Promoting Affordable and Reliable Energy and Infrastructure for Sustainable Supply in Nigeria,” the conference will also carry sub themes that focus on promoting technical solutions for the existing power infrastructure, policy implementation, and deregulation of the power sector.
