The International Geothermal Association (IGA) has launched a new matchmaking platform for geothermal consultants and companies; The Expert Pool. This online tool helps project developers, companies, developing partners, and international organizations to find suitable personnel fast and direct.
According to IGA Executive Director Marietta Sander, The Expert Pool will provide recruitment opportunities for entities in need of consultants and create new employment windows for experts.‘
Geothermal experts are invited to register their profiles with the IGA via the online registry:
The search function will be made available by mid-May 2016. The consultant database can then be searched for by the country where the expert resides, key expertise, and language skills.
Over the years a need for a matchmaking platform was expressed by project developers, government representatives, development banks, international organizations, regional commissions and IGA members, all in need for consultants with specific expertise. The Expert Pool will soon facilitate this direct communication.
