Indian Oil Corp. Picks Suzlon for Wind

Indian Oil Corp. has awarded a second wind turbines order to Suzlon Energy Ltd. for a 48.3-MW project in Andhra Pradesh.

 

Suzlon will provide 23 of its S88 2.1 MW wind turbines with the energy generated to be sold to the local power utility.

 

Tulsi R. Tanti, founder, Suzlon chairman and managing director, said: “This is Indian Oil’s second project with Suzlon, and we are extremely pleased to build on the trust and confidence placed in us and look forward to a long association.”
