The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) is holding high-level consultations for cooperation to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy in Africa. Members from the African Union, delegates including representatives from UNIDO, IPCC, and UNEP, and representatives from the UAE, India, China, Germany, France, and Japan will take part in the two-day workshop held in Abu Dhabi.
Energy will be the focal point and talks will be held to discuss regulatory policies that can aid African governments to better implement sustainable strategies.
