Malawi’s Press Corp. Ltd. (PCL) will drive into hydro and solar power to help Malawi up its power generation. As the largest holding company in the country, it has assets in several sectors other than energy including finance, telecommunications, food and beverage, and consumer goods.
The firm’s chairman Clement Chilingulo said, “We hope that in 2014 we will carry on from where we left off and that we will expand and grow the current business we are doing and also venture in new sectors such as power generation and also expand the telecommunication sector.”
