The government of the Republic of Mauritius announced it will construct a solar PV plant at the Agricultural Marketing Board (AMB) located in Moka district. A tender notice was released by the AMB, the state-owned entity under the Ministry of Agro Industry and Food Security, inviting bids for the construction of a ground-mounted PV plant on its land under a design-build and turnkey contract.
The capacity of the planned facility was not revealed. Interested bidders were directed to purchase the bidding documents and making a bid security deposit of around $4900 USD. Overseas companies were welcomed to participate in the bidding process.
