The latest comes from Solargiga Energy Holdings Ltd. as it formed a JV to develop 200 MW of PV plants in the West African nation. The firm plans to initially develop projects with a capacity of 40 MW.
The company will hold a 90% stake in the JV with Savannah Accelerated Development Authority. Solargiga CEO Hsu You Yuan said, “Thanks to growing market demand, coupled with the government’s supportive policy, we believe that the African market enjoys huge potential.”
