Société d’énergie et d’eau du Gabon (SEEG) will be financing new electrification projects in Greater Libreville and other cities in before the end of H2 2020. SEEG is committing around 1.5 billion CFA francs (approximately $2.7 million) for the implementation of six projects to improve the electricity supply to the region.
The funds will be used to build 11 new electrical transformer stations and to install around 50 km of high-voltage and low-voltage power lines while also connecting nearly 4,000 households to the national power grid.
Under this project, six water projects will also be implemented. Both the electricity and water projects fall under SEEG’s strategic vision for 2025.
