Nigeria’s Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) and the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) will inaugurate more than 90 power transmission and distribution projects in the coming weeks.
"Currently, there are more than 90 power transmission projects to expand the grid and will be in service in the coming weeks and months. Some of them are already finished while others are almost finished. About 100 power distribution projects are also being implemented by the NDPHC,” according to Nigerian Minister of Energy Babatunde Fashola.
The Minister also called on utilities to take equity positions in these various projects to speed up their commissioning.
