Egypt’s Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mohamed Shaker and its Minister of Investments and International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr, signed a protocol for investments.
The protocol for investments, worth EGP 2 million, is to clear the land allocated for the El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant.
The protocol follows President Abd El Fattah El Sisi’s directive to clear the mine and war debris from Dabaa in preparation for economic projects that will improve social standards and provide employment opportunities for youth, Nasr noted in an Al Mal News report.
The El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant will be located along the north-west coast.
