The “energy-award powered by Joule & RENEXPO®” will be presented for the second time to key players in the energy sector.
The 11th RENEXPO®, International Trade Fair for Regenerative Energy & Energy Efficient Building and Renovation, is taking place from October 7th-10th in the Augsburg Trade Fair and Convention Center. It is one of the sector’s most important trade fairs and is the number one meeting point for the renewable energy and energy efficiency industry due to its extraordinarily broad range of topics.
The “energy-award powered by Joule & RENEXPO®” was awarded for the first time last year. The response to the award was amazing with several innovative projects and technologies being submitted.
The energy-award will be granted again in 2010 to individuals who have distinguished themselves through their contribution to renewable energies and energy efficiency in building and renovation. Nominees are being sought that are involved in the areas of wood energy, heat pumps, energy efficient construction and renovation, solar technology as well as cogeneration technology up to 200 kW.
Submissions can be made at www.renexpo.de _ Trade Fair Program _ energy-award. Independent nominations can also be turned in. The highprofile jury of representatives from the media, politics, trade associations and the economy will judge the submitted nominations according to the criteria of innovation, engagement, communicability, wide-ranging impact and model function. Submission deadline is August 20th, 2010.
The awards ceremony will take place on October 7th in the Golden Hall of Augsburg City Hall. The award winners will be posted on www.renexpo.de and on www.joule-online.de and featured in the magazine Joule, giving them the opportunity to present their ideas and initiatives to a broad audience.
